Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information beautymold.com processes when you read the site or contact us.

Information processed during a visit

Your browser sends technical information when it requests a page. This includes an IP address, the page address, browser information, preferred language, and a referring page when your browser supplies one. The website uses request information to deliver pages, apply access rules, distinguish automated visits, and measure use of the collection.

Visit counts and IP information

The application counts visits to the homepage and article pages. It groups counts by date, website, article, and visit category, including ordinary visits, search referrals, and recognized crawlers.

To estimate unique visitors, the statistics system transforms an IP address into a keyed hash before saving the identifier in the statistics tables. This identifier helps recognize repeat visits for counting purposes. It is a pseudonymous identifier and can still distinguish visits associated with an IP address. People who share an internet connection may share an IP address.

Technical and error logs

When a request generates a technical log entry, the entry may include the original IP address, requested URL and query string, request identifier, domain, request method, and error details. These records help investigate faults and keep the service working. Avoid putting personal or confidential information in page addresses or query strings.

Cookies and sessions

Administrative sign-in uses a session identifier and server-side session storage. A session cookie allows the application to recognize that session. Browser settings let you inspect, remove, or block cookies; blocking a session cookie may prevent administrative sign-in. The visit-counting system described above uses server-side IP hashing.

Messages you send

When you email us, your message includes your email address, message text, and any attachments you choose to send. Those details are used to respond to your inquiry, investigate a reported issue, or handle your request. Include only information relevant to the request.

Storage and retention

Visit counts and hashed visitor identifiers are stored in the site's database. The current application keeps these statistics without a scheduled automatic deletion process. The application log uses rotation configured to retain up to seven log files. Administrative session storage has a configured lifetime, which can differ from the browser cookie's lifetime. Email correspondence remains in the email service used to receive it.

Service providers and other websites

Hosting and email services process information needed to deliver the website and handle correspondence. Opening an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. If an article loads an image from another website, your browser sends a request to that image host, which receives connection information such as your IP address.

Security and responsible sharing

Administrative access controls restrict the management areas of the website. The statistics system uses a keyed hash to reduce the exposure of raw IP addresses in visitor-counting records. Information in email, logs, and external services requires its own protection. Use care when deciding what to send and keep account credentials and financial or medical records out of correspondence.

Your choices and requests

You can control cookies and referrer information through your browser settings and choose what to include in email. To ask about information associated with your correspondence or visits, email [email protected] with the subject Privacy request. Specify whether you are asking for information, a correction, or deletion. Identifying a matching record and establishing the requester's connection to it may require further details; share the minimum needed.

Applicable privacy rights depend on your location and the circumstances of processing. This page provides the same contact route for questions about those rights. An IP-based statistics record may be difficult to connect to a named individual.
